About Me
For the last three years, I have worked as a freelance copywriter and marketing strategist, writing lifecycle email
automations, sales pages, landing pages, and full-funnel campaigns for clients in the real estate investing and
course creator space. What started as email copywriting kept expanding because I could not stop seeing the bigger
picture: positioning that was not connecting, offers that needed restructuring, funnels where the strategy and copy
were not aligned, and no social proof to back any of it up. I brought these things to my clients' attention, fixed
them, and became more than their copywriter. They hired me for email, but they kept me for strategy.
I am transitioning into SaaS because I want to work alongside a strong marketing team on a product that has already
found its market. My background is also technical. I taught myself to code, I have built software projects using AI
tools, and I have worked at a SaaS company where I learned to translate complex product features into clear,
digestible messaging. I understand how technical products work, and I know how to make that complexity resonate with
real buyers.
What I bring to a team: deep audience research, copy that sounds like it came from inside the reader's head, and
the instinct to zoom out mid-conversation and ask, "Are we solving the right problem right now?" I love the
psychology of why people buy, and I obsess over understanding an audience well enough to write the thing they did
not know they needed to hear.
Based just outside Boston, I live with my wife and our dog Hopper. I play guitar and love metal music (the heavier
the better 🤘), which surprises most people who have only read my marketing copy.
Looking forward to meeting you,
Brent
