Lifecycle Marketing, CRM & Operations Specialist

I find the revenue hiding in a customer list, and build the journeys that collect it.

For three years I've owned lifecycle programs end to end. I start with why customers do and don't act, then turn that understanding into segments, journeys, and messages built to be tested. From strategy and SQL to QA, execution, and reporting, every stage exists to influence revenue.

Interviewed customers 1:1, then rebuilt the core offer and the copy to match.

Deliverability & list hygiene

The Work

The six pillars of modern lifecycle marketing

Great lifecycle programs don't come from squeezing an email list. They come from respecting the data and sending the right message at the right moment. Here's how I approach the six capabilities every lifecycle role demands.

Working relationships

What it's like to work with me

Four clients on camera across coaching, real estate investing, agency, and SaaS talking about their experience working with me. Strong relationships on the job are vital for quality of work, but also quality of life at work.

About Me

I've spent the last three years as an independent lifecycle and CRM marketer, building email programs for clients in real estate investing and online education. I kept being hired to write copy and ending up at the root of the problem instead. The offer was positioned wrong before any subject line could save it. The social proof my sequences needed didn't exist yet, so I went and gathered it myself. The list was shrinking because the brand had stopped earning its place in the inbox. Clients hired me for email, but they kept me for strategy.

I'm a Braze Certified Marketing Specialist, Level 2. My background is technical too. I taught myself to code, I've built software projects with and without AI tools, and I've worked inside a SaaS company translating product detail into plain language. I can read API docs, write my own SQL, adjust designs with HTML & CSS, and talk enthusiastically about data structures with the engineers.

What I bring to a team: deep audience research, copy that sounds like it came from inside the reader's head, and the instinct to stop mid-conversation and ask whether we're solving the right problem.

Most importantly, I genuinely care about people. Everything above rests on a simpler idea: respect the customer, and make their day one percent better, whether that's a message worth getting, a little less friction, or a product good enough to recommend to a friend. The same goes inside the team. I want coworkers to feel comfortable bringing me the half-formed idea, and I want work to be somewhere people actually enjoy being. That's the philosophy under the lifecycle philosophy, and I'm looking for a team that values it the way I do.

Based just outside Boston, I live with my wife and our dog Hopper. I play guitar and love metal music (the heavier the better 🤘), which surprises most people who've only read my marketing copy.

Looking forward to meeting you,
Brent
